As part of our international engagement initiatives, Woodbridge Research promotes and assists with the development of institutional and human resource capabilities, and shares knowledge and research expertise through our education and research collaborations.

The Hanoi School of Public Health (HSPH) is the lead agency in Viet Nam delivering modern public health solutions within challenging environments. Woodbridge Research were invited to deliver a seminar at the School.

This was a valuable opportunity for the School and Woodbridge Research to network and liaise on topics of mutual interest, and provided good opportunity for the School to learn about novel, cost-effective approaches to develop effective health systems for Viet Nam’s communities.

The seminar, tailored for the Department of Health System Management, covered the following topics:

  • NGO front-line health services – key service management issues.

  • The collaborative service model – developing clinical outreach services.

  • What would a Viet Nam primary health care HIV prevention model look like?

HSPH are an active agent of change in Vietnam for the protection of people’s health. The School has a number of large scale national projects, collaborates with medical training institutions nationally, and have active cooperation programs with leading international public health institutions.

The Department of Health System Management set out to contribute to health systems improvement, through strengthening health workers’ management capacity by effectively integrating training and scientific research, alongside health systems management and public health goals.
